What I am working on is a way to make it easy for a person to add a citation link and a modal box that is presented when the citation is clicked.
Currently I am working on bible verses from the New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE).
The vision is that more documents will come available in the future. The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) should be the next one.
Often church documents are written with citations. To fully comprehend the meaning one should read the citation but it is often not that easy to flip between documents and we are left not really understanding the fullness of truth we are being given.
Can you imagine if instead of seeing the citations in the catechism you had the ability to see the supporting texts. Even more picture this in the many languages of the world. It would be much harder to confuse the faithful with false doctrine when the truth is easy to access.
